AmigaAmp has to be one of the best MP3 player for the Amiga out there, you'll
need a fairly high spec machine to get the best from it though and it's also
freeware.
It is GUI based and you can use WinAmp Skins with it which there are some here
for you to download, it uses the mpega.library on the 68k processor or the amp
decoding engine in the PPC version.
It has been optimized for visual appearance and accuracy, not for extremely low
cpu load.
Requirements are amigaOS3.0 or higher, a 68030-50Mhz processor or better.
You'll also need mpega.library (Aminet:util/libs/mpega_library.lha),
asyncio.library (Aminet:dev/c/AsyncIO.lha) and AHI audio system
(Aminet:mus/misc/ahiusr.lha). For most skins you'll need the correct datatypes
installed aswell, these are picture.datatype v43, ilbm.datatype v44 and
bmp.datatype v40.
It's also recommend to have PowerUp and ppc.library v46. AmigaOS3.1 (OS3.1 or
CGFX is needed for the internal spectrum analyzer.
You can download several version from here, but it's recommended to have a look
at AmigaAmp's own website aswell.
